it is a pain to sync each phone with the household phone book. Each phone has a individual phone book which could be cool in certain situations but is a real pain because every phone in my house has different numbers. the answering unit is only ok it does not have very user friendly controls for saving or reviewing messages after a period of time. this phone is cool but it really lacks range. i would have thought i could go further before losing calls.nope. if i grab the wrong phone it may not have the number i need in it.
We use the phone in a retail business environment and it works very well. Unfortunately, it did not come with a belt clip.
I bought it because I already had 3 and we needed more extensions and it was really easy to sync with the other phones. Good.
Two Thumbs Down. Now we have a silent system. This is a programming error on Panasonics part, because we changed the ringer volume setting exactly according to the instructions. Fine if we were the Deaf Institute of America, but not so good for a busy professional engineering office. Do not, under ANY circumstance, attempt to increase the ringer volume on the handsets. I have a six handset installation in my engineering offices and every single handset which we attempted to increase the ringer volume STOPPED RINGING ENTIRELY. The only way to tell if a call is coming in is by watching to see if the light on the phones start blinking.
Thi extra handset works great with my base unit and other handsets. It's a great phone.
